The Millers Falls FIDSM160 medium duty slasher is a 160cm slasher that is specifically designed for use with medium and compact tractors. It is perfect for cutting grass and undergrowth on your property. The slasher features a reinforced deck and a floating A Frame with rear discharge and adjustable skids, it is suitable for use with many smaller to medium tractors.

The slasher is built to be durable and can withstand rugged conditions and heavy workloads. It is constructed from premium materials, ensuring long-lasting performance. It is also compatible with a wide range of tractors, offering convenience and easy attachment for various farming operations.

The slasher has a heavy-duty 4mm deck with an additional 6mm of plating under the gear box. The 50hp gear box has been tested over many years and is proven to hold up under the harshest conditions. The slasher also features step-down blades to reduce the risk of the cutter bar hitting objects, the deck also has reinforcement on the underside helping to keep the deck straight thereby reducing water pooling and prolonging its life.

Additionally, the slasher has top link chains that connect to the rear allowing the deck to float over undulating terrain. It also has an adjustable cut height of 20-80mm.

For safety the slasher has a rear flap to prevent stones or solid object from being thrown backwards. The front of the slasher has a special design feature allowing grass to enter but preventing objects from being discharged forwards.  The gearbox is supplied with a safety cover over the PTO shaft.

The slasher is perfect for a variety of applications, such as slashing a variety of grasses, small trees and light scrub, clearing road sides and creating firebreaks. It is particularly well-suited for use in open grassy areas.

Delivery

Any timeframe given by TOOL NATION in respect of the delivery of the Goods is indicative only, and not binding on TOOL NATION. Products may not be available for immediate delivery.

TOOL NATION will use its best endeavours to deliver Goods to the Site at the time agreed between the parties. TOOL NATION does not provide any guarantees to the timeliness of deliveries as they are entirely controlled by third-party couriers. All deliveries are made in good faith and within the capabilities of the courier systems and processes.

Delivery of Goods will be deemed to have taken place when goods are delivered or when delivery has been attempted and goods have been returned to the courier's depot waiting for customer collection. Costs associated with re-delivery are the responsibility of the Consumer.

Delivery will be deemed to have taken place even if a Customer refuses delivery or Returns Items to Sender.

TOOL NATION reserves the right not to deliver certain Goods if the suppliers of the Goods to TOOL NATION fail to procure the Goods. The customer will not be liable to pay for undelivered Goods and will be entitled to a refund for amounts paid in respect of those undelivered Goods.

Types of Delivery Options

TOOL NATION tries to provide the lowest cost delivery options to their customers and therefore offers several options for the Customer to select. They are:

For Items under 22 Kg, standard shipping applies for all deliveries (can be delivered by Australia Post)

For Items Over 22 Kg costs vary depending on delivery point type.

  • Business Delivery (ABN Holder) – Must be a registered business with an ABN. Detail of business name to be included in the shipping information. The delivery point must have a suitable unloading capability. This must be either a Forklift, Pallet Fork or Bucket Fork. Lifting using straps is not acceptable to the couriers.
  • Business Delivery (ABN Holder) – Must be a registered business with an ABN. Detail of business name to be included in the shipping information. If no Fork unloading capability a Tailgate Truck is required. The driver will unload the Goods off the truck.
  • Local Courier Depot Collection – If a residential delivery or tailgate delivery is too expensive the Goods can be delivered to your closest Courier depot for collection. The Depot will contact the Customer when they have arrived at the Depot and will load up the Customer's Trailer, Utility or Vehicle.
  • Residential Delivery – This is a door-to-door service. The Goods are delivered to a residential address and include a Tailgate Truck to unload the Goods from the vehicle onto the Customers property. Suitable access is required by the truck.
