The Millers Falls FIRTLGM160 Gear Driven Rotary is a heavy-duty tiller designed to effectively cultivate soil and prepare it for planting. It offers numerous advantages, such as facilitating seed germination, promoting plant emergence and root growth, and enhancing soil moisture retention. It also helps to suppress weed competition and can incorporate chemical ameliorants and manures, making it versatile for different farming needs.

This tiller is suitable for both commercial applications and lifestyle farms. It is particularly effective in dry, hard soil or virgin ground. Its robust construction is specifically designed to withstand tough Australian working conditions. It features replaceable and curved hardened steel tynes that are 6mm thick and 80mm wide. With 7 flanges and 6 tynes per flange, it ensures efficient tilling.

The FIRTLGM160 model is a reverse-till model, which means it requires fewer passes compared to traditional tillers, making seed bed preparation more efficient. It is equipped with a heavy duty durable gear drive system.

The Millers Falls tillers are designed to thoroughly mix and cultivate the soil with their massive sidewise curved tynes. This ensures that the cultivated soil becomes a suitable base for sowed seeds. These tillers are also effective in destroying old turf, making them suitable for various farming industries, including vineyards and orchards.

These tillers are built to withstand Australian conditions and are manufactured to Millers Falls highest quality standards. They are laser cut from steel plates and utilize a tab and weld design, ensuring maximum accuracy and strength. The gearboxes used in these tillers are over-engineered for reliable performance in harsh farming conditions.

To ensure thorough tilling of topsoil, these units have six heavy-duty tiller cutting blades per flange and three cutters on each end of the unit. They have four adjustable depth settings and a maximum tilling depth of 160mm, ensuring versatility for different soil types and crops. The PTO-driven units are equipped with a 50Hp gearbox coupled with a slip clutch for maximum protection of the gearbox and PTO shaft.

The Millers Falls FILGM160 Rotary Tiller is designed for various tasks, including tilling soil for seedbed preparation, planting, and landscaping. It is a heavy-duty and gear-driven model with a working width of 1550mm. Weighing 375 kg, its weight allows the tynes to penetrate the ground with ease. Both the skid shoes and rear deflector are adjustable, allowing for different finish results. With a rotor swing diameter of 480mm, this rotary tiller can dig deep, up to a depth of 160mm. It requires a minimum of 40 - 65 hp to operate effectively.

Shipping Information

Delivery

Any timeframe given by TOOL NATION in respect of the delivery of the Goods is indicative only, and not binding on TOOL NATION. Products may not be available for immediate delivery.

TOOL NATION will use its best endeavours to deliver Goods to the Site at the time agreed between the parties. TOOL NATION does not provide any guarantees to the timeliness of deliveries as they are entirely controlled by third-party couriers. All deliveries are made in good faith and within the capabilities of the courier systems and processes.

Delivery of Goods will be deemed to have taken place when goods are delivered or when delivery has been attempted and goods have been returned to the courier's depot waiting for customer collection. Costs associated with re-delivery are the responsibility of the Consumer.

Delivery will be deemed to have taken place even if a Customer refuses delivery or Returns Items to Sender.

TOOL NATION reserves the right not to deliver certain Goods if the suppliers of the Goods to TOOL NATION fail to procure the Goods. The customer will not be liable to pay for undelivered Goods and will be entitled to a refund for amounts paid in respect of those undelivered Goods.

Types of Delivery Options

TOOL NATION tries to provide the lowest cost delivery options to their customers and therefore offers several options for the Customer to select. They are:

For Items under 22 Kg, standard shipping applies for all deliveries (can be delivered by Australia Post)

For Items Over 22 Kg costs vary depending on delivery point type.

  • Business Delivery (ABN Holder) – Must be a registered business with an ABN. Detail of business name to be included in the shipping information. The delivery point must have a suitable unloading capability. This must be either a Forklift, Pallet Fork or Bucket Fork. Lifting using straps is not acceptable to the couriers.
  • Business Delivery (ABN Holder) – Must be a registered business with an ABN. Detail of business name to be included in the shipping information. If no Fork unloading capability a Tailgate Truck is required. The driver will unload the Goods off the truck.
  • Local Courier Depot Collection – If a residential delivery or tailgate delivery is too expensive the Goods can be delivered to your closest Courier depot for collection. The Depot will contact the Customer when they have arrived at the Depot and will load up the Customer's Trailer, Utility or Vehicle.
  • Residential Delivery – This is a door-to-door service. The Goods are delivered to a residential address and include a Tailgate Truck to unload the Goods from the vehicle onto the Customers property. Suitable access is required by the truck.
